Window Tax Credits Get Stimulus Boost

all Windows Qualify for Tax Credit*

Both the House and Senate bills
have included language that provides homeowners with a credit of
30% of the cost of qualifying energy
efficient upgrades
up to $1500 for 2009. To qualify for the credit, the products must
meet some strict energy efficiency requirements: Windows, doors
and
skylights
will need to have a u-factor of 0.30 or below. Windows with u-factor
of 0.31 or higher do not qualify for tax credits.
